  Nice clean site. Well laid out. Minutes from beach. Cheap to stay at, Just not a lot in the way of kids play parks etc. Nice wee pub with roaring fire though. Kids loved planes taking off and landing.

  This is our 3rd visit in 3 yrs. Although we hadn't booked we were made very welcome. However it was busy so I recommend it is best to book. We stayed for 5days in our motor home and once again found everyone from the owner to the lady in reception the lady cleaning the toilets, to the groundsman friendly yet very professional. Noise late at night is not tolerated which is a bonus. Excellent areas to walk dogs including the beach a few minutes away. We hope to be back next year.

  We stayed 2 nights on the touring pitches in July 2016. For the right type of person this can be a great choice. I'll start with the good points. The price is good at £20 per night. The park is kept neat and tidy. Dogs are kept on leads all the time. There is a good bar/entertainment venue. The locals love the place with a lot of long term residents and tourers. Prestwick airport is close by but plane noise is brief and only occasional. On the down side all the pitches (residential and touring) are small and it feels very oppressive and was noisy over the weekend. There was only two cubicles in the men's toilets and on one the door wouldn't close. Facilities were kept fairly clean, but no hooks inside men's shower cubicles. The power failed on the first night, but the owner sorted it quite quickly. Overall it depends on how much personal space you're comfortable with, and whether you can go at off peak times.

  Great spot for day visits of Glasgow: 15 min by foot to the train station Prestwick Airport and then about 40 min by train to Glasgow Central. Location is situated next to the airport so planes are landing over your heads...also during the night. Close to the beach with sunset!
